Growing your wisdom is like growing a tree: inputs (sun, water, nutrients) + time (and patience) = growth.

As bad philosophers, we need a little more than just sun, water, and good nutrition. Our main input for growing our wisdom is information and ideas.

But I have to admit something: I'm an excessive information hoarder. And I do this because I'm overly worried about forgetting what I've learned or read.

And maybe I'm not alone in this.
