We do not store or retain any financial details (debit or credit card numbers) on our servers. If you do register for a paid subscription through our website, your card details are not seen by us and are securely processed by the third-party payment processing company Stripe in accordance with their own privacy and security policies. Similarly, if you become a Patron or make a donation via PayPal, all payment processing is handle securely by Patreon or PayPal, respectively.
What type of information is collected via other means
Please note that any additional information you disclose to us via a poll, survey, or directly via email will be stored using the Google Workspace cloud platform, and will be subject to the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
Registration and Account Management
We collect and utilize the least possible amount of information to facilitate registration and account management on badphilosopher.com (specifically, a name and valid email address). This information can be updated at any time from the "Account" hyperlink available at the top of our website, once you've signed in.
When you subscribe to badphilosopher.com, you will automatically be signed up to receive newsletters and email updates. You can choose to unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time either through your Account springboard or via the hyperlink at the bottom of the last email you received from us.
No password is required when you register at badphilosopher.com. Instead, any time you wish to log in, you will be sent a secure log in link to your provided email address. Once you've clicked this link, a cookie will be saved by your browser so that when you come back to badphilosopher.com, you will remain logged in by default. Location and Duration of Personal Information storage
We will retain information about you for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Cookies are used on badphilosopher.com for the following purposes:
